I remember being so blown away by Fury Road when I saw it for the first time way back when. Its goofiness was so over the top, but balanced perfectly against the actual props and vibe that it just came out with such a cool feeling. How refreshing it was to see actual 'kitbashed' cars driving across the red desert without relying 99% on CGI. My goodness, they certainly don't make them like they used to.
I don't really go to the movies like I did when I was a teenager. I reserve paying the big bucks on the big screen for when I feel like it's going to be visually worth it. Fury Road was one, along with Blade Runner 2049 and Into the Spider-Verse. Those are the only ones I can really think were worth it in the last decade hahahaa...
Having fun with some imaginary concepts. Customizing and building weapons and cars, stylizing characters, etc.
