I found an old sketch I had done back in 2021 and messed around with it, eventually taking it in a new direction. I'm trying to incorporate more storytelling into practice pieces like this. It's crazy how true it is that the more you learn, the less you know. Storytelling, composition, colors, texture... all things I felt confident in back when I was a teenager drawing in the margins of notebook paper now seem to loom ahead and beyond. Always crawling away to new heights. I love the challenge, but my goodness, there is always SO much to learn.
