I’ve dabbled with Procreate just a handful of times, and it’s always been a miserable experience. Learning a new interface is so crippling to workflow, but I was really determined this weekend to muscle through a little sketch and become more comfortable with Procreate. Although I did increase fluency, and I do like some of the brushes for organic stuff, there remain some seriously aggravating aspects. Someone please tell me there’s a better way to select color than tapping with my stupid finger and applying paint 50% of the time.

Inspiration for this guy from our recent excursion on Antelope Island while we spend a month in Utah. We got some good views of the bison herd, a pronghorn crossing the road, and a great horned owl at the ranch.
